Privacy Policy: Estimate Template & Invoices for Windows
Short version: everything you type into the app (your business details, logo, customers, estimates, invoices and payments) is saved only on your PC. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send your documents or customer details anywhere.
What the app stores, and where
- Your business profile, logo, brand colour, customers, estimates, invoices and payment records are saved in a file on your PC, inside the app's private Windows storage. Windows removes it when you uninstall the app.
- PDFs and backup files are saved only where you choose in the Save dialog. You decide whether to email, print or share them.
- We (DixonAppStudio LLC) cannot see, read or recover this data. Use Backup in the app to keep a copy.
What leaves your PC
- Microsoft Store licence check and purchases. To know whether you bought the optional Pro upgrade, the app asks Windows' Microsoft Store service for your licence, and the purchase dialog is run by Microsoft. Payment details go to Microsoft, never to the app or to us. Microsoft's handling of this data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Links you click. Links in the app (this policy, support email, Store rating page) open in your browser, mail app or the Store app.
- Nothing else. The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking code.
Personal data about your customers
If you enter your customers' names, emails, phone numbers or addresses, that information stays on your PC under your control. You are responsible for handling your customers' data lawfully (for example under GDPR or CCPA) when you send them documents.
Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no data from anyone.
Your choices
- Delete any customer or document in the app at any time.
- Uninstall the app to delete all of its data from your PC (save a backup first if you want to keep it).
Changes
If a future version changes what the app does with data, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
